Fourth grade students have been learning about the plant structure, their different types and how to care for them. In order to reinforce the concepts they visited Green Garden Center, where they had the chance to plant their own plants and to look at several different others including carnivores plants. Thank you to the parents in Elementary school for bringing some Christmas cheer to the classrooms. It was so much fun decorating the tree and sharing some delicious Christmas sweets, because it's never too early to celebrate Christmas! More photos here! 
Mr. Espinal, a father in 8th grade came to school to talk to the class about the effects of alcohol addiction. We're always appreciative to have the support and insight of parents. The 8th graders were engaged and learned a lot
