Advanced Placement Program

The Advanced Placement (AP) Program offers college level courses to high school students.  Students are selected based on their high academic performance. This program is created by the College Board

Middle School

MCSchool’s Middle School’s instructional programs are anchored on the belief that students’ transition from Elementary to High School require active support from teachers and administrators, to ensure an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding and respect. Its teaching program utilizes a team focus geared towards supporting students’ natural abilities, and developmental rate via a curriculum charged with instructional approaches maximizing individual growth, academic skills, and optimum opportunities for extracurricular activities.

High School

MCSchool´s High School addresses the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical dimensions of the adolescent, and offers a college preparatory program to ensure they acquire the necessary skills for practical implementation of knowledge as a competent member of society. The instructional program embraces the importance of self respect, responsibility, achievement, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.

Instructional strategies promote effective interactions between learners and their learning process, through significant activities such as: group work, debates, projects, experiments among others. Student learning is assessed utilizing various tools such as: participation, rubrics, oral presentations, projects, class work, tests among others.

Our student body also contributes with student sensitive issues. The Student Council members propose actions to collaborate with the effective operation of the student population and student leaders carry out activities that promote community services, relationship building, and student leadership.  Class Representatives facilitate input of important matters concerning the school. Students are also offered the opportunity to represent the school in national and international events.

Overall, our programs adhere to high learning standards and expectations as a means to enhance future success for the benefit of lifelong achievements.
