Co-curricular and extracurricular activities offer our student body opportunities to learn and participate in activities of their interest, and to strengthen knowledge and skills. MCSchool also promotes civic responsibility, the development of democratic attitudes, ethical values and behavior, and concern for the welfare of others and the environment.
A variety of co-curricular and extracurricular activities are offered after school hours to students in grades First through Tenth. Some options are: Karate, Jazz, Guitar lessons, Latin Rhythms, Sports and Theater among others imparted by specialized instructors.

SoccerThis sport continues to be the most popular within the after school program. Our community is very proud of students' commitment and dedication towards soccer. Approximately 125 students participated showing consistent interest in the sport. |
Spelling Bee The Spelling Bee Club enhances the skills of students interested in participating in the annual intercollegiate ACCAS Spelling Bee Contest, held at the ICDA. In 2012, MC School was represented by 18 elementary students. Two of our students won 1st place, one student won 2nd place, and another wone 3rd place. As a result, MC SChool was the Spelling Bee's Overall Champion.

BalletBallet for beginners covers the fundamentals of classical ballet technique. Students will learn the discipline they need to mature as dancers. Basics of performing will be introduced like strength, flexibility, rhythm, musicality, and memorization.

TaekwondoTaekwondo has 5 pillars based in the following: courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control, spiritual strength and love of silence. MCSchool in conjunction with the National Center of Taekwondo, work hard to install these criteria to participants in this sport.

Arts & CraftsMCSchool offers the Arts and Crafts for its 6th consecutive year. The groups club elaborates items for personal use, home or gifts, and learn about decoration. The use of recycled materials is also emphasized, as part of a school wide awareness of reusing.

BasketballJunior and Intermediate categories trained for an hour twice a week. In 2012, for the first time, basketball was offered as an afterschool sport for elementary students. The school organized a succesful tournament for the different categories.

VolleyballOur volleyball team composed of middle and high school students train Mondays and Wednesdays, with groups of 5th to 12th. In 2012, our intermediate category obtained 1st place in MC School’s Interscholastic Tournament.

Mural Arts
High-school students will have the opportunity to collaborate in the planning, design and implementation in a mural, which will be located in the basketball court area. |
