The Middle Grades at MCSchool are anchored in the belief that students in transition from the elementary to the high school require active support of teachers and administrators, in an atmosphere of acceptance, understanding, and respect for a diverse population. The Middle School instructional program uses a team approach to teaching and learning that focuses on the individual student and is geared to the student’s developmental rate. The curriculum is designed to capitalize on the student’s natural activity level and includes a variety of instructional approaches that maximizes individual growth, academic skills, while providing optimum opportunities for extracurricular activities.
