MCSchool is a private, independent institution that serves the
Dominican and foreign population interested in a U.S. type
curriculum. It promotes the use of the English language through
learning experiences that involve students and their communities as
they actively participate in meaningful situations.
MCSchool promotes the active participation of all members of the
school community. Parents participate in their child’s life by
hosting coffees and parties, participating on committees, assisting
teachers in field trips, sharing special talents and as classroom
parents or PTA members.
The school program fosters the development of the student as a whole
through core subjects and special classes facilitated by a highly
qualified staff and a caring and supportive environment.
Our students are active participants in their learning process, who
strive to develop their self-confidence, use critical thinking,
solve problems, and acquire emerging competencies and skills to live
in a changing multicultural society.
We recognize and respect individual learning styles and encourage
each student to achieve our goals according to their needs and
interests.
We focus on a hands-on approach within a structured and supportive
environment, which stresses and teaches the skills of cooperation
and independence and provides students with multiple opportunities
to make decisions and exercise democracy.
At MCSchool the faculty works collaboratively to create, develop and
renew curriculum to meet the evolving needs of our students and
school community and to build a community, which values and respects
individual differences and commits to diversity within the
curriculum.
Our personnel is provided with a continuing professional development
program which will enable the institution to provide our school
community with the most recent. |
