Welcome to MCSchool a place where students are active
participants in their learning process
MCSchool is an independent institution officially founded as
a private, non-sectarian, School in 1996. It offers an
educational program to Preschool, Elementary, Middle, and
High School Students. MCSchool serves a population of nearly 500 students.
MCSchool is incorporated under a Board of Trustees and is under the
responsibility of a Board of Directors consisting of 9 members,
representative of the different social economic sectors. The school
is recognized by the Dominican Ministry of education and
accreditated by the Southern Association of Colleges and
Schools (SACSCASI). |

Our educational philosophy assumes a holistic conception of
education, in which all areas of the student’s life are valued and
enhanced through the promotion of his/her integral development. The
teaching and learning process intends to promote, along other
objectives, self-realization, self-esteem, creative expression,
cultivation of personal talents, and interests, preparation for
contemporary life, health and safety, and a wise use of leisure
time.
Acknowledging schooling’s social dimensions, MCSchool also promotes
civic responsibility, the development of democratic attitudes,
ethical values and behavior, and concern for the welfare of others.
Finally, the school has made a commitment to offer an up-to-date and
quality educational program which emphasizes mastery of content and
skills in fundamental subjects, the promotion of critical thinking,
problem solving, good study skills and work habits, and more
importantly, a genuine desire to learn.
